Gate Arch

The Gate Arch was designed with the arborist in mind. This arch will pick up a 20" diameter log weighing up to 2000 pounds a couple of inches off the ground and still go through a 36" gate with room to spare. The arch can be used by hand or with a winch line assist. It is a stoutly built, tight little arch with tall thin wheels that roll easily. It uses a choker chain to lift the log. The log is pulled up tight into the arch with an over-centering action. The load capacity of the arch is 1 ton of weight, though it is unlikely a log of that weight would be 20" diameter.



After moving the log, the arch can be inverted to become a tremendous brush and branch hauling device for the equivalent of a pickup truck full of material in one load and go through the same 36" gate. Converting the arch to a brush hauler is easy, just flip or invert the arch attach a bunk (arch piece without wheels), slide two sets of 6' stakes into the slots and insert the gooseneck handle. The gooseneck handle changes the handle height for ergonomic handling of logs.

The Gate Arch can also be reconfigured to be used like a hand truck to carry stumps or boulders. The arch is rotated 90 degrees and insert 2 stakes and the gooseneck handle.



The Gate Arch comes with the gooseneck handle, 4 stakes and a bunk so that you can utilize it to its full capacity.
