Tom Ashmore Enterprises, Inc. does some interesting training for firemen and rescue teams. They've been training teams in Connecticut for over 40 years.

Here is a training exercise they call "Pick Up Sticks".

The goal is to learn how to rescue someone buried under a log pile.

They use logrite peaveys, cant hooks and a winch to remove the logs without crushing the victim.
